Deirdre Hooper, MD is a board-certified dermatologist and co-founder of Audubon Dermatology in New Orleans. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Hooper is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Dermatology at both Tulane and Louisiana State University.
Dr. Hooper is passionate about achieving beautiful, healthy skin for all her patients and creating natural results by combining multiple treatment modalities. She has authored several papers and book chapters in academic dermatological literature and is an active participant in clinical trials on acne, skin care, and injectables. She frequently lectures and performs live injections at local and national Dermatology and Plastic Surgery meetings, and trains residents and colleagues in cosmetic and laser dermatology.
Dr. Hooper currently serves as Vice President of the ASDS / ASDSA Board of Directors. She is a Past President of the Louisiana Dermatology Society and serves on numerous committees of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and Women’s Dermatologic Society. She is a member of the American Dermatological Association, the Noah Worcester Dermatological Society, the New Orleans Women’s Dermatologic Journal Club, and the Leaders Society of the Dermatology Foundation.
